When we started diving from Mango Bay we immediately discovered some great dive sites. Razorback blew us away…

Virtually the first dive we did straight out from Namatakula channel on the corner of the main reef, a long narrow ridge juts out into the big blue on a right angle to the main reef. It starts at 18m and runs gently down to about 50m where it plummets abruptly into the abyss. Big green turtles like to sit on the ridge, but the wow factor is usually provided by the schools of Cuda patrolling where the current is thrown up by the ridge. Hanging in the blue with swirling schools of blackfin and yellowmargin barracuda never fails to give a big buzz. Flights of eagle rays cruise over the ridge and as you come shallower you can explore the swimthroughs and gulleys that pierce the main reef. Tawny nurse sharks can be found here, along with white tips and myriad other reef fish.
