The Beachouse

The Beachouse is nestled within a delightful eight hectare coconut plantation with acres of tropical gardens and lawn. The resort is fringed by a white sandy beach with a living coral reef only metres away!

Located on Fiji’s magnificent Coral Coast , the Beachouse offers you a genuine island/beach atmosphere!!

This unique resort was designed and built by the Brown family in the 1990’s specifically for travellers and those wanting an authentic Fiji experience away from the big resorts.

With only 20 double rooms (12 with ensuite bathrooms) and a few dorms (no more than 6 persons per dorm), the emphasis is on comfort, privacy, convenience and all-round fun for singles and couples.

We enjoy hosting travellers from all over the world, whilst giving guests a chance to experience the very best of Fiji’s coastal lifestyle.

The Beachouse is the perfect place to start your Fijian adventure!

We generally have 40 to 60 travellers staying, so it is a good place to source up to date information off fellow travellers when planning your onward Fiji travel.

A little known fact is that The Beachouse was the site selected for the reality TV show ‘ Love Island’ in 2006

Getting to the Beachouse

…the benefit to the traveller is that the Beachouse is only a F$12 bus trip from Nadi … great value for an 90km bus ride! You get to see the Coral Coast first-hand as the bus ambles down the Queens Road through over a dozen villages and picturesque scenery.

Activities

You can take advantage of the great outings nearby such as village visits, jungle and waterfall treks or simply relax and enjoy our beachside location.

You can also enjoy sea-kayaking, snorkelling, beach horse-riding, boat/fishing trips, inexpensive massage or simply laze in a hammock on the beachfront

There are many other activities (some of which are organised by local Fijiian villagers)
